Products Description

The infrared tunnel furnace is an industrial equipment that uses the principle of infrared radiation for heating, and it is usually used for processing products through processes such as drying, curing, and baking.

Structural Composition of the Infrared Tunnel Furnace

  • Furnace Body: Generally made of metal materials, it has good sealing and heat insulation performance, which can reduce heat loss and ensure the stability of the temperature inside the furnace. The furnace body is usually divided into multiple heating zones, and each heating zone can control the temperature independently to meet the temperature requirements of different products at different process stages.

  • Infrared Heating System: This is the core part of the tunnel furnace, composed of infrared heating elements. Common infrared heating elements include infrared lamps and infrared ceramic heating elements. These heating elements can emit infrared rays of specific wavelengths. When the object to be heated absorbs the infrared rays, it will convert the infrared energy into heat energy, thus achieving the purpose of heating.

  • Conveyor System: It is used to transport the products to be processed through the tunnel furnace. The conveyor system is generally composed of a conveyor belt, a transmission device, and a driving motor, etc. The material of the conveyor belt has various choices according to different usage requirements, such as stainless steel mesh belts, chain conveyor belts, heat-resistant rubber belts, etc., to ensure that the products can move stably and continuously inside the furnace.

  • Temperature Control System: Equipped with devices such as temperature sensors and temperature controllers, it can monitor the temperature of each heating zone inside the furnace in real time. According to the set temperature values, it can automatically adjust the power of the infrared heating elements, keeping the temperature inside the furnace within an accurate range and ensuring the heating quality of the products.

  • Ventilation System: It includes an air inlet and an air outlet, which can realize the circulation and renewal of the air inside the furnace. On the one hand, it can discharge the exhaust gas generated during the heating process. On the other hand, it can introduce fresh air, which helps to improve the heating efficiency and product quality, and can also play a role in regulating the atmosphere inside the furnace.

Working Principle

The working principle of the infrared tunnel furnace is based on the thermal effect of infrared rays. Infrared rays are a type of electromagnetic wave with strong penetration ability and thermal effect. When infrared rays irradiate the surface of an object, a part of the infrared rays will be reflected by the object's surface, a part will penetrate the object, and the infrared energy absorbed by the object will be converted into heat energy, causing the temperature of both the inside and the surface of the object to rise simultaneously. In the infrared tunnel furnace, the products slowly pass through the tunnel furnace driven by the conveyor system. During this process, the products continuously absorb the infrared energy emitted by the infrared heating elements, thus achieving uniform and rapid heating. Compared with traditional heating methods, infrared heating has the advantages of fast heating speed, high thermal efficiency, uniform heating, and energy conservation.
